Paintings by Walter Farmer and Florence Olga Farmer

The paintings below are still in our family. The cottage at Car Colston, then known as White Gates,  featured in several paintings by Walter Farmer, who lived there with his wife Marie and their children John and (Florence) Olga, who painted too, and attended the Slade School of Art. Both Walter and Olga were members of the Nottingham Society of Artists and exhibited their paintings in local and national exhibitions.
